„SÜDAFRIKA – Land der Kontraste“ has become 2 years old
Today, „SÜDAFRIKA – Land der Kontraste“ – the German Gateway to South Africa –, has become two years old. Much has happened since then. This online media is evolving constantly. More and more users are aware of the project. The required user-friendliness has now been largely implemented. Well over 112,000 visits, about 1,000 Facebook friends and 300 Twitter followers are pursuing „SÜDAFRIKA – Land der Kontraste“ – rising figures with each passing day.
Just more and more personalities from the German-South African relations will be interviewed. Moreover, it is reported daily updated, more exclusive news provided and further editors involved.
However, the national press in Germany possessing an ambivalent relationship to „SÜDAFRIKA – Land der Kontraste“. Ghassan Abid, Managing Chief Editor of this media, emphasizes the need of two opposed positions as an advancement for this nonprofit project: “Only on the basis of supporters and rejectors we are able to to realize our strengths and weaknesses. We have much to learn as a team and improve existing communication processes.„
Research costs, communication costs and also volunteer work requires a lot of free time on the staff. Accordingly, small donations are always welcome.
